The first gravity specific grip with tapered grip shape. More damping in the outer area with slim inner diameter. The unique rubber compound manufactured in Germany offers adhesive and rebound properties which have never been seen before in a bicycle grip. The grip feeling is soft, but still very defined and precise. The surface profile provides optimal grip and reduces the gripping force at the same time. The slim inner stop additionally improves fast positioning of the hand. The high-strength aluminum inner clamp keeps the grip twist-proof even for carbon handlebars.

Best grips I've used

I ride a mountain bike for my job and have tried lots of different grips. I thought the tapered design of these sounded like a gimmick at first but it truly works. I no longer have issues with my two outermost fingers cramping on long descents. The texture is perfect- not too hard or soft. They're extremely tacky without being gooey or leaving behind little pieces of grip on my hands. I havent had any issues with the lock loosening. I got two long seasons out of my first set, looking to get another

Factory Grip is where its at.

Love these grips. I used the GE1 for quite a while but I keep on laying the bike down sideways and I break off the bar ends. One of those times the bar ends saved my life and left me with a Ergon tattoo but thats a story for a different review. I bought the GD1s because of their separate bar end but when I opened them up I felt the grip. Oh the grip. I knew that I would never do no-handers again because my hands would not ever want to leave this grip. Im glad for the lock ons because now even when I dont ride my bike I can take these grips with me everywhere.
