I like it overall The flat shape is not the most comfortable for me, but no hot spots or numbness. Stubby nose is nice, it doesn't grab your shorts ls like some saddles.
I know nothing of the mountain biking world and knew nothing about saddles as this was my first bike / saddle purchase. The saddle my bike came with was upscale but too small for my sit bones, this company seems very competent and passionate about what they do so I gave them a try! I’ve had my seat for 2 weeks now and I have to say it’s a world of difference, I used to get off my saddle in pain and wincing at the thought of my next ride. This saddle makes me love mountain biking more and it’s pretty comfortable, as comfortable as a saddle can be I suppose haha. I’ll have to buy more saddles to give it a true review, but all in all I’m happy with my purchase, thank you Ergon !
This seat is super comfy on the sit bones. My sit bones were just inside the measurements for the smaller size so I ordered that, but upon receiving it and trying it out on the floor it was clearly not wide enough. I got the larger size and the fit is great. However, my big disappointment with the seat is that the surface material has to much friction, like rubber. So it tends to grab and pull my shorts when I'm trying to move my body position on technical trails and jumps. Not cool.
I am coming from a Specialized Power saddle and wanted to try something else. I didn’t like the look of the cut out on the women’s saddles, so I chose this one. This model definitely is for those of us who don’t like much/any padding. It has even slightly less padding than the Power saddle, so this model is not for anyone who’s sit bones aren’t already used to bike saddles. The length is a little long for me but the nose doesn’t get in the way. Overall, it provides some of the least soft tissue pain in my sensitive areas compared to almost all other saddles I’ve tried.
Love the seat. Very comfortable. No more numb A$$. The Rainbow Oil Slick looks awesome too!
