The GS1 Evo redefines what ergonomic comfort can be for bikepacking, trail, endurance, fitness and ebikes by minimizing aching hands and numb fingers. Ergon took the best-selling GP1 winged grip and evolved it with popular characteristics of the off-road specific GA3. The GS1 Evo features a larger supportive wing than the GA3 and a sleeker profile than the GP1, a specific textured grip zone for the thumb, fingers and palm and a softer overall touch. Always prioritizing materials, the GS1 Evo is composed a proprietary rubber compound Made in Germany. From quick jaunts across town to endurance events to journeys across continents, the GS1 Evo is a new favorite among many riders!

Great grips; check compatibility before ordering

When used on a Brompton, these are a nice incremental improvement over bike-standard, adding comfort & support while remaining compatible with folding action.

But, be sure to check whether they will work on your bike configuration. It turned out that they do NOT work on a P-line 12-speed mid-height bar. The combination of bar geometry plus the extra shifter ring used for the 4-speed shifter on the left handlebar means there is insufficient room on the handlebar to use these grips. So, take off your factory grip, check the available handlebar, (move the shifter/brake if you need to as far as is properly available), and measure before ordering.

I note that I sent in a support request asking the company if they had checked compatibility, and I got back a pretty cold response simply saying "They work on bars with ... available space". It was a bit off-putting. Nowhere on the product page does it indicate the amount of handlebar required. Seems like this would be important to put there.

(Fortunately, I also have in the household a flat-bar Brompton, and these grips worked on that, since I can move the shifter further inboard on the flat bars.)

Best bike handlebar grips I've ever used!

I came across Ergon grips while scrolling FB and thought they looked promising, so I tried them out.
They are exactly as described, very comfortable for my old man's hands, and attach securely to my bike, which most grips don't. These don't spin around the handlebar with abandon like every other grip I've tried.
Wish they'd offer some that would fit my e-bike with a grip throttle. I'd switch to them in a second.

One of the best grips Ergon has ever made

This is definitely one of the best grips that Ergon has ever made. The revised shape combined with the new rubber just makes it more comfortable. It also gives you better feel at the bar than the old GS series. Would definitely recommend!

The best ultra endurance grips

These are the most comfortable grips you will ever find for very long days on the mountain bike. Great support without compromising control for difficult off road riding.
