Hot take, but this is Ergon's best MTB saddle. I've tried several of their actual MTB models, and while many of them are comfortable for pedaling, they all share the same problem. The rear of the saddle is a sharp plastic edge that really sucks to slam your fragile bits into when things go a little sideways, which they have on several occasions for me.

Not only does the foam core in these put them among the most comfortable for long days in the saddle, but it also adds a nice bit of cushion around the edge for some better "out of saddle" comfort as well. It's the best compromise I've found between an enduro saddle that's comfortable to pedal but sucks to crash into and a DH saddle that has softer edges but isn't great for pedaling. Highly recommended.

Received this saddle as a warranty replacement for a SR Pro as the SR Pro was our of stock and wouldn't be available for months.

All in all it's not a great saddle. Good at vibration dampening, but that's about it. The SR Pro gave a much more firm pedaling platform but still maneuverable. Wish I would have been able to receive my original saddle instead.
