Just received mine today definitely firm. Its hard to figure out what part of the seat im supposed to sit on while riding. Also, the pressure seams to be on the insides of my sit bones. Went on a 8mile ride earlier and instead of pain starting at a certain point in the ride it was more of a bit of an uncomfortable ride the whole ride. If that makes sense. Its not horrible but different than what im used to with my cheap memory foam seat for sure. Like I said it more of a firm pressure on the insides of your hip bones. When I got off the seat there was no pain like some. Best description I have so far.

Great quality seat as always from ergon! Very comfortable on long or short rides. I would never have another seat on any bike! Ergon is the way to go

More Miles More Smiles!

I usually ride a loop that is around 15 miles. Before I installed the SMC Core seat, I would have to take multiple breaks off the saddle. Now I can run the entire trail without stopping and I don’t even notice any numbness. I can definitely recommend this seat.

Excellent saddle

well cushioned but firm top with shock absorbing boost foam. Viable alternative to suspension seatposts for MTB and gravel. SM/M saddle is roughly 145mm wide and good for me

Comfort +

I tried over a dozen saddles and this on was by far the most comfortable and planted. I compared it to saddles ranging from $79 to $450.
