Designed for bikepacking adventures, rugged trails, endurance rides, fitness cycling, and e-bikes, the GS1 Evo helps keep aching hands, numb fingers, and fatigue from cutting your ride short. Ergon combined the legendary comfort of its best-selling GP1 winged grip with the trail-ready control of the GA3 to create a grip that excels everywhere. The result is a perfect balance of support and performance. A larger ergonomic wing than the GA3 reduces pressure on your hands, while a sleeker profile than the GP1 delivers confident handling on and off the trail. Targeted texture zones for your thumb, fingers, and palm enhance grip and control, while the softer feel keeps every mile comfortable. Crafted in Germany from Ergon's proprietary rubber compound, the GS1 Evo delivers premium comfort, durability, and performance in every ride. Whether you're spinning across town, tackling an epic endurance event, or exploring new horizons on a cross-continental journey, the GS1 Evo is ready to become your favorite connection to the bike.

Comfort

I have some wrist and thumb arthritis, and these grips really help on bumpy MTB trails. Good control and less carpal tunnel symptoms.

This grip saves the hands

When I tried this Ergon grip on a friend’s mtn bike, I immediately felt the hand and wrist saving function of the grip. Now I have them on my mtn bike. So much more comfortable to have a better platform to support proper wrist and hand posture. It gives me many options for hand positioning and keeps my hands from being bumped around in rocky conditions.

Comfortable grip for street riding

I have an eMTB (a cube 140) and while trail riding I do like a very "grippy" and more normal hand grip, much of my riding is back and forth to our gym on easier trails and paved roads. For this reason I purchased these grips and I have been very happy with them since installation.
The palm rests are very nice and they provide a nice cushion for riding on easier type roads.

Great grips; check compatibility before ordering

When used on a Brompton, these are a nice incremental improvement over bike-standard, adding comfort & support while remaining compatible with folding action.

But, be sure to check whether they will work on your bike configuration. It turned out that they do NOT work on a P-line 12-speed mid-height bar. The combination of bar geometry plus the extra shifter ring used for the 4-speed shifter on the left handlebar means there is insufficient room on the handlebar to use these grips. So, take off your factory grip, check the available handlebar, (move the shifter/brake if you need to as far as is properly available), and measure before ordering.

I note that I sent in a support request asking the company if they had checked compatibility, and I got back a pretty cold response simply saying "They work on bars with ... available space". It was a bit off-putting. Nowhere on the product page does it indicate the amount of handlebar required. Seems like this would be important to put there.

(Fortunately, I also have in the household a flat-bar Brompton, and these grips worked on that, since I can move the shifter further inboard on the flat bars.)

Best bike handlebar grips I've ever used!

I came across Ergon grips while scrolling FB and thought they looked promising, so I tried them out.
They are exactly as described, very comfortable for my old man's hands, and attach securely to my bike, which most grips don't. These don't spin around the handlebar with abandon like every other grip I've tried.
Wish they'd offer some that would fit my e-bike with a grip throttle. I'd switch to them in a second.
