Engineered specifically for 30º-60º sweptback handlebars common on city and touring bicycles, the GC1 grip addresses critical ergonomic challenges. Conventional grips force an unnatural wrist angle on these setups, resulting in hand and wrist discomfort. The GC1's anatomically precise design corrects wrist positioning, effectively eliminating tension and pain through its scientifically optimized form factor.

GC1's

The palm supporting geometry of these handles are very well designed, provides the relief I wanted from riding with numb hands for longer. The extra sweep on these handles also is a big bonus for anybody who wants to put these on swept back alt-bars like the Jones' H or Surly Moloko (me). Most appreciable so far is the increased room on the cockpit for arranging the shifting, droppers, and brakes in a more ergonomic and un-cramped fashion.

These work super nice for my new elextric bike with swept back handlebars!
Best grips I have ever had.... easy on or off.

GC1’s for swept bars

These rock. I have them on my Jones loop bar and they crush. So comfortable. In fact I don’t think I’ve ever had more comfortable hands. Good work Ergon

GC1 Grip is a keeper

My e-tandem bicycle came with sweptback handlebars for the captain (front rider). I was getting pain in my wrists after riding a relatively short distance. I was going to swap out the stock handlebar for a bar with a less severe angle but discovered the GC1 grips! Didn't know they existed. I was on the website and clicked on the description. The grip flares out at the end to put the wrist in the right position. Problem solved, less expensive fix and no more pain.
Highly recommended.
