Excellent grips, as expected

I have just changed the 10-year old GP1 on my Brompton and the grips perform as expected. The feel is better for me than the original GP1; I like the combination of textures. I might add the new 2 finger GFK bars, if technically feasible. I recommend the grips highly.

Awesome handlebar grips!

So comfortable, and no more numb hands!

GP1 BioKork Hand grips

I first used these grips on my mountain bike and found the comfort and overall feeling to be wonderfully superior to the standard grips supplied with that bike. I decided to replace the grips on my commuter soon there after and have been really pleased with the difference in my hand and wrist comfort.
As for the installation, please follow the directions as they are correct. You can over tighten the Allen head bolts and strip out the aluminum part of the grips.

Excellent grips, but be careful not to overtighten

Overall, I'm happy with these grips, but I would caution users to follow the instructions about using a torque wrench, or at least be careful not to overtighten. Apparently, I did overtighten the Allen bolts, enough to cause wearing on the socket edges that made the bolts difficult to loosen and re-tighten. Fortunately, customer service was willing to accommodate my carelessness, and sent me a new pair of bolts in exchange for the user-damaged ones. Live and learn! Enjoy your new grips!

Great Grips

Great grips as expected. Much better than the stock grips that came on my ebike. Far more comfortable with the palm support than standard straight grips. Should have gotten them sooner.
